Of the more than 110 million expected to watch Sunday’s big game, it’s estimated that 56 million of those will be going to a watch party with friends and family.

Most fans don’t head to their local sports bar to watch the game, but rather, the majority of people celebrating actually attend or throw parties in homes. When compared to a typical Sunday night in U.S., we saw an increase in ride requests hours following last year’s game.

As party goers take the time to coordinate their game day festivities, we want to remind everyone to also plan on riding in the back seat instead of getting behind the wheel.

This year, Uber and Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) are again teaming up with actress and comedian Jillian Bell before the kickoff to help raise the awareness of drinking and driving.

Being a designated rider means enjoying the game without worry. If you’re hosting or attending a party, help eliminate the concerns of how you and your friends will get home safely by encouraging everyone to avoid getting behind the wheel after drinking. Whether you take a bus, a train or an Uber, just don’t drink and drive.
