Community Engagement: 2016 in Review
Written byIn 2016 Uber celebrated 5 years of moving the city of Boston. With each passing year Uber Boston has become more and more intertwined with the local community – that was true this year more than ever. From the launch of a Disability Coalition to increase mobility for all, to a partnership with Big Brother Big Sister to provide free service for bigs to get to littles in underserved communities, the past year has been about providing indiscriminate access to our great city.
We have forged bonds with many groups along the way to create a more accessible city from BARCC, to the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce, to the Urban League of Eastern MA, and community health centers, to name just a few. See some of our highlights from 2016 below. We can’t wait to build on this for an even more eventful 2017.
