Meet Cheree – an aspiring screenwriter, film production company owner, Los Angeles newbie and one of UberEATS LA’s courier partners. Having only started with UberEATS in March 2017, Cheree has already completed over 300 deliveries, and has quickly become both a pro and advocate for the food delivery app.

An LA transplant, Cheree moved from Seattle to sunny Southern California to pursue her dreams in the film industry. She landed a job working security all over OC and LA county, and quickly found herself working long hours – she recounts a grueling 14 hour shift! This left her with little-to-no time to do the things she had originally moved here to do – write, collaborate and work on films – as well as the things she loved and was passionate about. After hearing about UberEATS through a fellow security officer, it didn’t take her long to make the move to driving.

Fast forward three months and Cheree has successfully written 90% of her current TV drama script. What does she owe this to? The flexibility of UberEATS. She praises the app for allowing her to have “more time to do what I love and make money when I want.” Working the hours she chooses and being her own boss has always been a priority for Cheree, which is why being a courier partner with UberEATS works best for her.

When she’s not busy with her work, Cheree enjoys going to the beach, hiking and spending time with family and friends. She also loves talking to the elderly, who she’s received great support and wisdom from.

When asked what advice she has for aspiring UberEATS couriers, Cheree was quick to note it’s important to take care of yourself on the road – take breaks, stay hydrated and enjoy some fresh air. More importantly, to keep pushing and following your dreams!
