Downtown Los Angeles has a lot to offer anyone willing to make the journey. It’s home to artists, fine dining, grunge bars, and some of the best kept secrets the city has to offer. Even though the one way streets can be a bit difficult to navigate, it’s never been easier to make DTLA your backyard.

Mural spotting

Interested in capturing the moment? Walk around the Arts District and you’ll see why it’s named that way. From wall to wall, the murals and street art you’ll walk into are the easiest ways to increase your Instagram engagement. We recommend starting at the Arts District Co-op for the best finds and heading west. Follow the art and you won’t be disappointed.

La Cita

Do you dance? Good. If you’re down for a no-frills, mixed crowd, $5 a beer kind of night, expect to have the best time at La Cita in DTLA. Pizzanista

We get it, pizza is a way of life. You know who also gets that? Pizzanista. Started by skaters turned pizzaneours, Pizzanista is home to some of the most delicious by-the-slice pizza in Los Angeles. If you’re a vegan, there’s a slice for you (Vegan Veggie). If you’re a meat eater, just order the Seitan Meat Jesus already. Trust us, you’ll find yourself in pizza and when you’re ready to keep the night going, grab a slice for the road and make your way next door to Tony’s Saloon.

Tony’s saloon

Yes, there’s an outdoor ping pong table. Yes, they serve local beer and make delicious cocktails. Come with a crowd and expect to meet the eclectic personality types that DTLA is known for. It’s all there, in a dimly lit, old-school vibe bar we love. Oh yeah, and when you’re headed out, make your way over to the photobooth. The moment is definitely worth saving.
