Our rating system was designed to help ensure great experiences for riders and drivers. But drivers have told us that ratings can at times feel unbalanced, unclear or outside their control.

That’s why as part of this month of 180 Days of Change, we’re announcing improvements that make ratings clear and balanced on every trip, and that give drivers more protections and feedback when they need it. You can read more about the changes we’re announcing today here.

Whether it’s providing riders with a clearer sense of what each star rating means or expanding Ratings Protection to cover more reasons that are out of drivers’ control, every change we are making today is based on feedback drivers have shared with us.

That’s what 180 Days of Change is all about: listening and building the best experience for drivers, with drivers. We look forward to sharing more soon about how we’ll make that happen together in the months and years to come.
