Uber One for Students

Uber One is a subscription option which gives you access to benefits such as savings on Uber and Uber Eats.

There are monthly memberships available for $70 MXN and annual memberships at $750 MXN. Uber One also has partnerships with third parties that offer a discounted membership to eligible users.

Uber One members receive a $0 MXN Delivery Fee and $0 MXN Service Fee on restaurants orders and $0 MXN Delivery Fee on rest of stores marked with the Uber One icon.

Eligible stores will have a gold Uber One icon underneath their names. $159 MXN minimum order to receive $0 MXN Delivery Fee and $0 MXN Service Fee from participating restaurant stores. $199 MXN minimum order to receive $0 MXN Delivery Fee from Convenience stores and $500 MXN minimum order for rest of stores.

They’ll also get 5% back in Uber One credits on eligible rides. Look for the Uber One icon to see where your benefits apply.

Taxes and fees, if applicable, do not apply to order minimums. Membership savings are applied as a reduction to service fees. Other fees and exclusions may apply.

You can cancel your membership in the app up to 48 hours before your next scheduled payment to avoid further charges.

To cancel your membership in the Uber app:

Tap the profile icon.

Tap “Uber One.”

Scroll and tap “Manage Membership.”

Select “End Membership” and then “End Membership” again to cancel your membership.

If you are less than 48 hours before your next renewal, please contact support.

If you’re on a free trial of Uber One and cancel your membership, then your membership benefits will end upon cancellation. For all other memberships, you’ll have access to your membership benefits until the end of the current billing period.

You can purchase an Uber One membership directly in the app.

In the Uber Eats app:

Tap “Account” in the lower-right corner.

Tap “Uber One” and follow the prompts to enroll.

Subscriptions renew automatically. The subscription fee is non-refundable once charged to you, however, you can cancel and manage your membership at any time in the app.

Note: You must have the latest version of the app to purchase.

Uber One subscribers receive:

$0 MXN Delivery Fee and $0 MXN Service Fee on eligible restaurant orders of $159 MXN or more.

$0 MXN Delivery Fee on eligible Convenience orders of $199 MXN or more and $500 MXN for rest of stores.

5% back in Uber One credits on eligible rides.

Eligible stores will have a gold Uber One icon underneath their name. Other fees, including a service fee, and taxes may still apply.

Get help with a specific order promotion

Your payment method can be changed at any time from the Uber One page in the Uber or Uber Eats by navigating to Uber One under “Account.” Click “Manage membership” to make changes to your payment method.

Any Uber Credits can be used towards this recurring membership subscription. To do so, click Uber One on the Account page of the Uber or Uber Eats app, then “manage membership.” On that page, you can update payment details to have your Uber Credits turned on.

All members will receive Uber One credits on rides with the Uber One icon.

Uber One members will receive 5% back in Uber One credits on eligible trips. Uber One credits can be used on both Uber and Uber Eats, so you can use it on trips and orders.

Please note that it can take up to 24 hours for your Uber One credits to deposit into your Wallet in the Uber App. Once Uber One funds are added to your Wallet in the Uber App, you can use them on your next ride or order. Uber One credits from Uber One is earned on the subtotal of your final fare on eligible trips and excludes tolls, tips, taxes, and fees. You cannot earn additional Uber One credits on the portion of membership Uber Credits used on trips. Your earned Uber One credits for eligible Uber One rides is listed in the Wallet section of your App as Uber One Credits.

Uber One credits can be used on the trips or orders of your choice and will typically be used based on which expires first.

Your Uber One credits will also expire if your membership concludes.
