Business Intelligence
The Business Intelligence team builds the financial systems behind our payments, risk, and safety & insurance products. We tackle some of the industry’s toughest engineering challenges, ensuring the compliance and integrity of our services for a frictionless payments experience.
Core Infrastructure
Under the hood of the Uber platform is a large-scale, microservice-based architecture that facilitates the reliability and scalability of our products. Our Core Infrastructure team leads our site reliability, observability, computing, networking, and hardware operations from sites worldwide.
Information Technology

Marketplace
Uber's Marketplace team creates the core technology behind ridesharing and delivery marketplaces by connecting riders and eaters with merchants and couriers and drivers at the push of a button. Our innovations unlock potential across all sides of the mobility and delivery marketplaces, expanding user access, delivering reliability and providing more transportation, delivery and earning opportunities to users across our markets globally.
Maps
Uber's Maps technology is at the core of every movement powered by Uber. Developing highly scaled, accurate and innovative solutions for location search, pickups, dropoffs, routing, navigation, traffic and ETAs is at the heart creating differentiating and magical experiences while delivering efficiency to the Uber platform. We use the latest ML, deep learning, AI, GPS, telematics, UGC, geospatial tech, graph network optimization algorithms and UX solutions to make transportation on our platform reliable, safe and more accessible.

On the Rides team, we work on products that ignite opportunities for millions of people every day. We’re focused on making Uber’s core ridesharing products faster, safer, and more reliable by building scalable software solutions for riders and drivers on our platform.
Uber Eats
