Vehicle requirements in Lithuania

Vehicle requirements

  • 4 or 5-door vehicle in good condition
  • Steering wheel on the left side
  • Minimum of 5 seats stated on the vehicle registration certificate
  • Valid vehicle insurance
  • Valid technical inspection
  • Vehicle must be registered as a taxi
  • Working windows and air conditioning

  • LTSA permit for passenger transportation (PAVLN)

UberX

Requirements:

  • 4-door vehicle in good condition
  • Seats at least 4 passengers in addition to the driver
  • Model year 2003 or newer

Available: all Lithuania

Comfort

Comfort offers riders newer, higher-quality vehicles driven by experienced, highly rated drivers.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 150 completed trips
  • Driver rating of 4.85 or higher
  • Vehicle model year 2012 or newer

Available: Vilnius and Kaunas

UberXL

UberXL allows you to carry larger groups of passengers and earn higher fares with a higher-capacity vehicle.

Requirements:

  • Seats at least 6 passengers in addition to the driver
  • Third-row seats must provide sufficient space for passengers to sit comfortably
  • Model year 2003 or newer
