User Generated Content Photo Offer Terms & Conditions

To increase the number of menu items on Uber Eats that have pictures of what the item looks like, Uber Eats may from time to time suggest that you upload a picture of an item you ordered after you receive it. You are not required to participate, but you may choose to do so as a member of the Uber Eats community seeking to enhance the experience for other users who want to order from the same stores as you.

If you choose to submit a picture, your photo must be an original photo taken of the actual menu item as you received it. By submitting, you grant Uber Eats the rights, and agree to the representations, warranties, and obligations, set forth in Uber’s User Generated Content Terms for use of the photo. Your photos must meet the guidelines. If you submit any photos, they will be reviewed for quality and accuracy alongside any photos that other Uber Eats users submitted for the same menu item. Uber Eats will then select from among submitted photos which it feels most accurately and effectively represent the dish, as Uber Eats determines in its sole discretion. Uber may also decide, in its discretion, to not approve or publish any photo at all. Photos may appear in different places on Uber Eats related to that item (e.g., next to a menu item, on a restaurant’s storefront screen, etc.).

In certain cases, where you submit a photo following all the above requirements and Uber Eats publishes your photo, Uber Eats may award Uber Cash as a gesture of appreciation. In circumstances where Uber will award Uber Cash, Uber will advertise this offer, so you know in advance whether your photo may qualify. Only those who receive this advertisement in-app are eligible to receive Uber Cash. Though Uber Eats may publish your photo among different locations within the Uber Eats app, Uber Eats will only award Uber Cash if your photo is posted as a menu item photo. Uber Eats’ advertising of the Uber Cash award opportunity will indicate the amount of Uber Cash you will receive, and all other required parameters beyond those listed above. Those parameters will contain a link to helpful information, and all material legal terms to receive Uber Cash, but you may also find it here. You can only receive Uber Cash for the same menu item once, and pre-packaged items, alcohol items, beverages, sides, condiments, cutlery and build-your-own dishes are not eligible. An offer to receive Uber Cash is subject to change or cancellation at any time in Uber Eats’ discretion.

In circumstances where Uber Eats advertises an award of Uber Cash, once Uber Eats selects and publishes a photo as a menu item, as long as all requirements have been met Uber Eats will notify you and deposit the Uber Cash into your Uber Eats wallet. Awarded Uber Cash will be valid for use for one (1) month from the date of issue, and the relevant expiration date(s) can be found in the wallet section of your Uber account.Your receipt and use of Uber Cash is subject to the Uber Cash Terms of Use. Uber reserves the right to rescind awarded Uber Cash if Uber determines in its discretion that your photo violates or otherwise does not meet the requirements. Regardless of the amount of a specific advertisement for Uber Cash for your photos, you may not receive more than $500.00 in Uber Cash for submitted, approved, and posted photos.
