Uber Connect Terms and Conditions (Taxi Model)
This Connect Terms sets out the additional obligations that apply if you request a Connect Delivery Service via the Uber App.

1. Relationship

These Uber Connect Terms and Conditions (“Connect Terms”) are supplementary to and shall be incorporated into the Taiwan Rides Terms and Conditions (HERE) (“Rides Terms”) and govern your access and use of applications, websites, content, products, and services made available by Uber B.V. and its parents, subsidiaries, representatives, affiliates, officers and directors (collectively, “Uber”) and/ or Third Party Transportation Providers, that enable users (“you”) to arrange and schedule the delivery of package(s) (the “Package(s)”) to a designated address (“Connect Delivery Services”).
This means where you choose to use Uber Connect to request delivery services from Third Party Transportation Providers, the following applies to your use and access of Uber Connect:
- these Connect Terms; and
- except as modified by these Connect Terms, the Rides Terms.
Capitalised terms in this Connect Terms that are not defined shall bear the meaning ascribed to them in the Rides Terms. Except for what is expressly provided for under this Connect Terms, no other provision of the Rides Terms shall be amended and all terms and conditions of the Rides Terms shall continue, remain in force and apply.
本Connect條款與條件(「Connect條款」)係補充並應納入 Taiwan Rides 條款和條件(「Rides條款」)(按這裡),用以規範您存取或使用 Uber B.V. 及其母公司、子公司、代表人、關係企業、經理和董事(下合稱「Uber」;「優步」)及/或第三方運輸提供商應用程式、網站、內容、產品和服務(「本服務」),讓使用者(「您」)能安排並預約包裹運送包裹」)至指定地址(「優快送外送服務」)。
當你選擇使用 優快送 請求自第三方運輸提供商提供外送服務時,以下適用您的存取或使用 優快送 :
- 本 Connect 條款;和
- 除本條款修改外之Rides 條款。
本 Connect 條款中未定義的大寫術語應具有 Rides 條款中賦予它們的含義。
除本 Connect 條款明確規定的內容外,不得修改 Rides 條款的任何其他條款, Rides 條款的所有條款和條件應繼續有效並適用。
2. Connect Delivery Services

Uber Connect allows you to request delivery of package(s) (both the content and the materials for its containment) (the “Package(s)”) to a designated address using the Uber App.
優快送 允許您使用 Uber 應用程序請求將包裹(內容物包含內容和材料)(「包裹」)運送至指定地址。
You may place requests to have Packages delivered by Third Party Transportation Providers via the Uber App, using the ‘Uber Connect’ request option (“Connect Delivery Services”).
您得使用 Uber 應用程式經由 「Uber Connect」請求選項請求將包裹由第三方運輸提供商運送(「優快送外送服務」)。
Connect Delivery Services are offered in designated areas as communicated via the Uber App from time to time (“Connect Active Area”). Uber does not guarantee that the Connect Delivery Services will be available in the Connect Active Area at all times.

(a) If you choose Connect Delivery Services

If you choose the Uber Connect request option, you will be charged for the Connect Delivery Services. Third Party Transportation Providers will collect Packages from you or from a designated address and deliver those Packages to your nominated location as part of the Connect Delivery Services.
如您選擇 優快送 請求選項,您需就 優快送外送服務 支付。 優快送外送服務 係第三方運輸提供商將自您或自指定地點提取包裹並運送包裹至您的指定地點。
For each Connect Delivery Service requested, Uber will endeavour to ensure that your request is matched to aThird Party Transportation Providers as soon as reasonably possible. Unfortunately, independent factors such as traffic and weather, as well as the actions or inactions of Third Party Transportation Providers may cause delays in the provision of delivery services.
就每一個 優快送外送服務 請求, Uber 將努力確保您的請求將於合理情形下盡快被第三方運輸提供商接受您的請求。 惟,例如交通或天氣以及第三方運輸提供商之作為或不作為等獨立因素皆可能導致外送服務之遲延。
You shall notify and obtain the consent of any third party recipient or sender of a Package that their personal information, including their name, phone number and pick-up or delivery address, will be disclosed to Uber for purposes of Uber Connect and in accordance with Uber’s Privacy Notice (https://privacy.uber.com/policy/).
您應通知包裹之任何第三方收貨人或寄貨人並徵得其同意,有關他們之個人資訊,包含姓名、電話號碼及取貨或送貨地址,將出於 優快送 之目的並根據優步之隱私聲明(https://privacy.uber.com/policy/)揭露予Uber。
(b) Prohibited Packages

You may not use or access Connect Delivery Services to send any Prohibited Packages (“Prohibited Packages”). A list of Prohibited Packages is published online by Uber (HERE) (as updated from time to time). Uber retains the discretion to prohibit additional Package items from time to time. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have checked the current list of Prohibited Packages each time you use the Connect Delivery Services. Depending on your location, there may be additional Prohibited Packages or restrictions on the use of Connect Delivery Services for specific categories of items.
您不得利用或使用 優快送外送服務 寄送任何違禁包裹(以下稱「違禁包裹」)。優步線上發布一份違禁包裹之清單 (按這裡) (不定期更新)。Uber 得不定時自行決定限制額外的包裹項目。您有責任確保每次使用 優快送外送服務 時均檢查最新的違禁包裹清單。依據您所在之位置,可能會有額外之違禁包裹或對特定類別物品使用 優快送外送服務 之限制。
You must prepare, appropriately package and securely close and seal the Package(s) for safe delivery.
您須準備、適當包裝並牢固的關閉和密封包裹以確保安全外送。
(c) Package Restrictions

The Package(s), together, per trip, (i) may not be greater than 13 kilograms, (ii) must fit comfortably in the storage compartment of a vehicle, and (iii) may not have a total value greater than NTD5,000.
每個行程之包裹合計,(i) 不得超過 13 公斤,(ii) 必須能舒適地放入車內,並且 (iii) 總價值不得超過新台幣 5, 000。
(d) Refusal or Rejection of Deliveries

You acknowledge and agree that there may be circumstances where your delivery request may be cancelled, including where a Third Party Transportation Provider, in their sole discretion, declines to pick up or deliver the Package(s).

You acknowledge and agree that you are responsible for ensuring that you and anyone who has contact with a Third Party Transportation Provider or any other person as part of the Connect Delivery Services you have requested, complies with the Community Guidelines.
您瞭解並同意,您有責任確保您及任何與第三方運輸提供商有聯繫之人或任何作為您請求 優快送外送服務 一部分之其他人遵守社群準則。
(e) Delivery, Redelivery, and Undeliverable Packages

If a Third Party Transportation Provider is not able to complete the delivery for any reason (including, for example, where a Third Party Transportation Provider is unable to locate the delivery location and is unable to make contact with you or the delivery recipient), the Third Party Transportation Provider will attempt to arrange for the return of the Package to you.
若第三方運輸供應商因任何原因無法完成運送(包含,例如,第三方運輸供應商無法找到外送地點並且無法與您或外送收件人取得聯繫), 第三方運輸提供商將嘗試安排退還包裹給您。
If the Third Party Transportation Provider is not able to return the Package to you, you acknowledge and agree that the Package may be left at the original pickup location, an alternative location as instructed by you, or at the delivery location, or safe place near the delivery location. To the extent feasible and if requested by you, Uber may also attempt to facilitate an exchange of the undelivered Package between you and the Third Party Transportation Provider.
若第三方運輸提供商無法將包裹退還給您,您知悉並同意包裹可能會留在原始取貨地點、您指示之替代地點、外送地點或鄰近外送地點之安全地點。於可行之情況下且若由您提出請求,優步也可能會嘗試促使您與第三方運輸提供商之間交換尚未外送之包裹。
You are responsible for the reasonable costs associated with the return, redelivery or disposal of your Package, except where the return, redelivery or disposal arises from any fraudulent, unlawful or grossly negligent act or omission by Uber or a Third Party Transportation Provider and you may be charged for the reasonable costs associated with the return, redelivery or disposal of your Package using your payment method designated in your Account.
您應對與退還、重新外送或包裹處置相關之合理費用負責,除非前開退還、重新外送或處置是由優步或第三方運輸提供商之任何欺詐、非法或嚴重過失行為或不做為所引起者,且您可能被收取因退還、重新外送或包裹處置相關之合理費用透過使用您帳戶中指定之付款方式。

You acknowledge that neither Uber nor any Third Party Transportation Provider takes any title to Packages. You maintain title to the Packages at all times.

(g) Loss or Damage to Packages; Sending Food or Beverages; No Insurance

If a Package is lost or damaged in transit, see the Uber Connect loss or damage policy available (HERE).

Uber does not maintain insurance covering loss, damage or theft. You should contact an insurance agent or broker if insurance coverage is desired.

If you use the Connect Delivery Services to send food or beverages or other items not otherwise prohibited by these Connect Terms, you assume full responsibility for such items after delivery, including any damage due to temperature sensitivity and/or tampering. You further assume full responsibility for chilling any perishables immediately upon delivery to help maintain the safety and quality of those items.
若您使用 優快送外送服務 寄送本 Connect 條款未禁止之食品或飲料或其他物品,於外送後您應就前開物品承擔全部責任,包含因溫度敏感性和/或篡改造成之任何損壞。於外送後,您進一步承擔任何立即易腐爛物品之全部責任,您應協助保持前開物品之安全和質量。
(h) Cancellations and Refunds for Uber Delivery Services

You may elect to cancel your request for Connect Delivery Services from a Third Party Transportation Provider at any time prior to such Third Party Transportation Provider arriving at the pick-up address, in which case you may be charged a cancellation fee.
您得選擇在第三方運輸供應商到達取貨地址前之任何時間取消您對第三方運輸供應商之 優快送外送服務 之請求,於此情況下,您可能需要支付一筆取消費。
(i) Limitation of Liability
(i) 責任限制
Notwithstanding anything else in the Rides Terms and to the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Uber’s total liability to you in connection with the Connect Delivery Services for all damages, losses and causes of action (whether in contract, in tort (including negligence), in equity, by operation of law or otherwise) exceed NTD5,000.
儘管 Rides 條款中有任何其他規定且在法律允許之最大範圍內,於任何情況下,就您與 優快送外送服務 有關之所有損害、損失和訴訟(無論是因契約法、侵權行為(包含過失)、衡平法、法律應用或其他方式), Uber 之總責任不超過新台幣 5,000 元。
