User Generated Content Photo Offer Terms & Conditions

To increase the number of menu items on Uber Eats that have pictures of what the item looks like, Uber Eats may from time to time suggest that you upload a picture of an item you ordered after you receive it. In certain cases, Uber Eats may incentivize you to participate by offering Uber Cash in exchange for submitted photos that Uber Eats approves and posts for use as a menu item photo (a “Photo Offer”). You are not required to submit photos of your food.

If Uber Eats advertises a Photo Offer, the Photo Offer will indicate the amount of Uber Cash you will receive, and all other parameters of the offer (e.g., which items qualify for the Photo Offer), for photos that Uber Eats approves and posts to the platform. To qualify to receive the Uber Cash, your photo submission must meet the requirements set forth below. Photo Offers are only valid for those who receive the photo submission request in the Uber Eats app, and Photo Offers are subject to change or cancellation at any time in Uber’s discretion. Approved and posted photos may appear in different places on Uber Eats related to that item (e.g., next to a menu item, on a restaurant’s storefront screen, etc.); the use of your photo only qualifies for a Photo Offer if Uber Eats determines, in its discretion, to post the photo as a menu item photo—other uses of the photo elsewhere on the platform do not qualify

Your use of Uber Eats is subject to the Uber Eats Terms of Use, and the award and use of Uber Cash is subject to the Uber Cash Terms of Use. Uber reserves the right to rescind awarded Uber Cash if Uber determines in its discretion that your photo violates or otherwise does not meet the requirements. Regardless of the amount of a specific Photo Offer, you may not receive more than $500.00 in Uber Cash for submitted, approved, and posted photos.

Requirements to receive Uber Cash for a Photo Offer: Your photo must be an original photo taken of the actual menu item as you received it. Pre-packaged items, alcohol items, beverages, sides, condiments, cutlery and build-your-own dishes do not qualify for a Photo Offer. Your original photo must abide by all of the representations set forth below. Following your submission, photos will be reviewed for quality and accuracy alongside photos that other Uber Eats users may have submitted for the same menu item. Uber Eats will then select from among submitted photos at its discretion, however Uber retains the right in its discretion to not approve or publish any photo at all. Once Uber Eats selects and publishes a photo, as long as all requirements have been met, Uber Eats will deposit the amount of the Uber Cash into your Uber Eats wallet. Awarded Uber Cash will be valid for use for one (1) month from the date of issue, and the relevant expiration date(s) can be found in the wallet section of your Uber account. You understand that even if you do not meet all criteria to receive the Uber Cash, Uber may still publish your photo on the Uber Eats platform. Repeat or multiple photos of the same menu item are only eligible one time to receive a Photo Offer. Uber Eats will notify you if your photo is selected and meets the criteria to receive Uber Cash.

For all photos you submit to Uber Eats, you grant Uber Eats the rights, and agree to the representations, warranties, and obligations, set forth in Uber’s User Generated Content Terms. The photo must meet the guidelines.
