Uber Reserve Guidelines

Hours Available for Booking
- Reservation can be booked from 90 days before the scheduled departure date until 30 minutes before the scheduled pick-up time.
- Please note that Reservation service is not available in certain cities.
Fees
- Reservation fee
- It is determined for each car dispatched. The reservation fee for each product is specified in the “See Terms”on the app on the page where you select the date and time of the reservation.
- Estimated fare specified on the product selector page is inclusive of the reservation fee.
- The reservation fee must be paid concurrently with the fare.
- If you choose “Cash” as the payment method, you cannot use this Reservation Service. If you choose “Credit card” or any of the other accepted payment methods, and time, an authorization hold (※) will be made at the relevant fare and booking fee against the designated payment method by Uber 16 hours prior to your requested pick-up time, whether or not you have been matched with a driver. We will inform you if your payment method is declined for example it has expired and you do not have an alternative payment method saved to your Wallet so that you can update your payment details.

Steps to booking a reservation / Matters to Note
- After you complete the booking procedures on the Uber app, you will be matched with a driver, and a notice will be sent to you. When you receive the notice that you have been matched, a vehicle-dispatch contract will be concluded and your booking will be confirmed. Matching with a driver begins seven days before the scheduled departure date.
- At the time when you complete the booking procedures in the Uber app, the vehicle-dispatch contract will not yet have been concluded.
- After completing the booking procedures, you can check the booking details in the Uber app. You can edit your booking details before 60 minutes of the pick-up time free of charge
Steps of Cancellation/Boarding
- You can cancel for free at any time prior to receiving your driver details or 60 minutes before your scheduled pick-up time. If you’ve received your driver details and you cancel less than 60 minutes before your scheduled pick-up time, you’ll be charged a cancellation fee. The cancellation fee for each product is specified in the “See Terms” on the app on the page where you select the date and time of the reservation.
- A notification will be sent when the driver departs for the pick-up location. However, if the driver is expected to be significantly delayed, we will inform you in advance. You may cancel the reservation free of charge within 10 minutes of receiving the notification.
- The driver will usually arrive at the pick-up location before the scheduled pick-up time. Even if the pick-up time is earlier than the scheduled pick-up time, you may depart earlier than the booked time if the driver has already arrived at the pick-up location.
- After both you and the driver have arrived at the pick-up location, you can add or change destinations in the Uber app. Before you add or change your destination, please notify the driver about the change in advance.
- The driver will wait for you at the pick-up location for a certain period of time (please refer to the “See Terms” on the app ) after the scheduled pick-up time. However, if you do not arrive and that period of time passes, you will be deemed to have canceled the vehicle-dispatch contract. In that case, a cancellation fee will be charged based on these Guidelines.
- If the driver foresees any fraud, personal danger, etc. from your behavior, we may cancel the vehicle-dispatch contract (before arriving at the destination). For the details in such cases, please contact our Support Center.
