What is Pick-Pack-Pay?

Pick-Pack-Pay is an order where delivery partners pick, pack, and pay for ordered items at stores, such as convenience stores or grocery stores, and then deliver to the orderer.

In the future, merchants who accept Pick-Pack-Pay orders will start offering items on Uber Eats, which will expand the opportunities for delivery partners to earn rewards.

To get started, you’ll first need to sign up for the Plus Card. Once your card is activated, you’ll start receiving Pick-Pack-Pay orders.\\

※ Requires a device that supports Visa Touch payment.

※ Pick-Pack-Pay is currently only available in Tokyo and Yokohama. We will let you know when it is available in other areas.

  • Shopping list

    To help you choose the correct item, the app will display the description, photo, brand and size. If available, it will also display the barcode.

  • Replacement items

    When an item is out of stock, the app will tell you what to choose instead so you can be on your way.

  • Digital Plus Card

    The Plus Card is a digital card used to pay for items on Pick-Pack-Pay orders. Plus Card allows you to easily make payments at checkout, as the limit is pre-approved based on the amount paid for your Pick-Pack-Pay order.

Getting started is easy

Step 1: Sign up

Request a Plus Card by tapping here (make sure you have the latest version of Uber’s Driver app downloaded).

Step 2: Review how Pick-Pack-Pay works

Check the Learning Center in the Driver App to learn more about how Pick-Pack-Pay deliveries work.

Step 3: Complete an order

Accept requests for Pick-Pack-Pay orders as you please, and take more control over your earnings. Use the pre-authorized Plus Card at checkout, so you can easily pay for the customer's order

Disclaimer

※The Plus Card is pre-authorized for each Pick-Pack-Pay order and may only be used to pay for orders whenever the app provides you the option. You must activate your Plus Card to be eligible for Pick-Pack-Pay trips. You can use your own personal payment method for Pick-Pack-Pay orders only if you are unable to use your Plus Card.

※In order to receive delivery requests for Pick-Pack-Pay orders, in addition to obtaining a Plus Card, you must agree to the Uber Eats Delivery Partner Pick-Pack-Pay Order Appendix and the Digital Wallet Terms of Use for Pick-Pack-Pay Orders.

※A device that supports touch payments is required to acquire a Plus Card.

Frequently asked questions

  • To become a Pick-Pack-Pay shopper, you first need to activate your Plus Card using the steps mentioned above.

    1. Accept a delivery request for Pick-Pack-Pay orders.
    2. Pick up items at stores such as convenience stores or grocery stores.
    3. Pay for the order with Plus Card at checkout. (If Plus Card is not available, you can use your own payment method.)
    4. Pack items after checkout
    5. Take a photo of the receipt and upload it to the app.
    6. Deliver the ordered items to the requested delivery address.
    • There will be a memo on the top right corner of the offer card that indicates it is a Pick-Pack-Pay order.
    • If you do not wish for delivery, you may decline the delivery request at this time.

  • If you use the Plus Card, you do not need to settle the payment for the items with your own payment method. So please pay with your Plus Card at checkout in principle. But if you are unable to use your Plus Card, you can still pay with your own payment method and settle the bill at a later date.

    • You will be compensated based on the time and effort required for each Pick-Pack-Pay order.
    • The estimated amount you will earn by completing the delivery of an individual order will be displayed as usual when each delivery request is received.
    • If you have not checked out yet, please feel free to cancel the delivery request.
    • If you have already checked out, please contact support.
