Required documents

Before you can start driving with Uber, you'll have to be approved by An Garda Síochána.

Here are a few documents you'll need to drive with Uber:

 

  • Valid Irish or EU driving licence
  • Valid SPSV driver’s licence (how to apply)
  • Taxi or Limousine Vehicle Licence
  • Certificate of Insurance covering use of your vehicle as an SPSV
  • Bank Statement
