Create Space and Help Those In Need With UberGIVING This Sunday!
If two things are true about Hong Kong: (1) None of us have a whole lot of space and (2) We still really like shopping.
As Lunar New Year is approaching, some of you may need to get rid of used clothes or kitchenware to make room for some new items at home. The recently launched UberCARGO is teaming up with Green-Dot-Home and Friends of the Earth (HK) to help Uber riders to reduce waste for a better environment by re-using/recycling, while also helping some of those in need.
This time, you don’t need to go to a local donation centre though. Simply push a button and within minutes one of the newly-minted UberCARGO vans will be at your door, ready to pick up your reusable clothes and kitchenware that are taking up space in your flat but you want to give away.
On Sunday January 18, open your Uber app and request the ‘UberGIVING’ option. Within minutes an UberCARGO will arrive to haul off your clothes and kitchenware and donate to Green-Dot-Home and Friends Of The Earth (HK) on your behalf.
