Ice Buckets On-Demand!
Yesterday Team Uber Hong Kong did the ALS #IceBucketChallenge in SoHo. Today, Friday August 22, we’re bringing the #IceBucketChallenge to you. From 11:00am to 4:00pm, everyone in Hong Kong can make your own ice bucket video and contribute to ALS – the Hong Kong Neuro-Muscular Disease Association – with the push of a button.
We know it’s not easy to accept the #IceBucketChallenge here in HK! Ice isn’t exactly in over-supply, and it’s tough to dump a bucket of ice water on your head with your work clothes on. Not to fear! Uber is bringing you everything you need to do The Ice Bucket Challenge on-demand.
How It Works
- Order “ICE BUCKET” via the Uber app
- Uber brings ice, water, buckets, towels, t-shirts and a camera in minutes
- Accept the challenge and donate seamlessly via the Uber app to the ALS cause in Hong Kong
- Uber will give you Uber credits up to HK$300 for every dollar you donate!
Booking an on-demand Ice Bucket Challenge is FREE, as long as you donate to the Hong Kong Neuro-Muscular Disease Association. The Hong Kong Neuro-Muscular Disease Association will provide tax receipts for all donations above HK$100, and Uber will give you Uber credits up to HK$300 for every dollar you donate! Ice bucket on!
