Uber One is a paid membership subscription that offers “Monthly Plan” and “Annual Plan”. For a fixed subscription fee, you get savings on rides showing the Uber One icon, and plus other member benefits.

Monthly membership costs HK$88 and an annual membership costs HK$888. Uber One renews automatically every month on or around your billing day, you can go to the Uber One section and tap “Manage Membership” to check the current membership expiry date or unsubscribe it in the “Uber One” section in the app. To avoid incurring the charge for the next billing cycle, you can cancel your membership subscription in the app 48 hours before your billing day or contact support if you cancel within 48 hours before your billing day. Your billing day for each month is determined based on the day on which you have first purchased/subscribed to Uber One.

• 10% Uber One credits back: Enjoy 10% rewards in Uber One credits after completion of each eligible ride*. Uber One credits will expire 60 days after being added to your wallet.

  * Current ride options for eligible trips include UberX, UberXL, UberXXL, Comfort, Assist, Uber Pet and Black.

• Top-rated driver: priority access to top-rated drivers (if available). Due to traffic and other circumstances, Uber One cannot guarantee that you will be paired with a top-rated driver on every trip.
• Exclusive offers: Access to occasional member-only promos and experiences. Exclusive offers are occasional, subject to availability, and may vary between members.
• Uber One’s first member-exclusive offer: 10% rewards in Uber One Credits on all Uber Taxi trips, offer valid until further notice.

The Uber One credits earned on each eligible ride are calculated based on the net trip fare paid by you, less any promotions (but excluding Uber Cash) and Uber One credits applied. 

For instance, we would take the subtotal of your total trip fare (after deducting any promotions and Uber One credits excluding Uber Cash), fare adjustments, booking fee, reservation fee and wait time fee (if applicable), while excluding tolls, tips, taxes, and other fees and surcharges as the base in calculating the 10%. If you have applied previous Uber One credits to pay the final fare, you will not earn additional Uber One credits on that portion of the final fare. 

Your balance breakdown and transaction history with Uber One credits can be found in the Wallet section of your app.

You can purchase/subscribe to the Uber One membership right in your app:

• Tap “Account” in the lower-right corner
• Tap “Uber One” and follow the prompts to subscribe

Membership renews automatically. Unless otherwise specified, the subscription fee is non-refundable once it is charged to your account. However, you can cancel and manage your membership at any time in the app.

Note: You must have the latest version of the Uber app to purchase/subscribe to the Uber One membership.

Regardless of whether you choose the “Monthly Plan” or the “Annual Plan,” all membership benefits of Uber One only apply within Hong Kong areas.

You can always cancel your membership in app. Cancel at least 48 hours before your billing day to avoid incurring the charge for the next billing cycle.

You can open the Uber app:

1. Tap the “Account” icon
2. Tap “Uber One”
3. Scroll and tap “Manage Membership”
4. Select “End Membership” and follow the prompt

If you’re on a free trial of Uber One or a paused member, your membership benefits will end upon cancellation. If you’re not on a free trial of Uber One or a paused, you’ll still have access to your Uber One membership benefits after cancellation until the end of the current billing period.

If you want to subscribe to Uber One, you can go to the Uber app and choose “Monthly Plan” or “Annual Plan”. Currently the only available payment method is by credit card.

Previously subscribed member

If you have recently applied for a refund of your canceled subscription, you’ll only be able to re-subscribe to Uber One 3 days after your subscription fee has been refunded.

If you’re unable to purchase Uber One, please make sure your app is up to date before you try to purchase/subscribe the membership.
