Uber is implementing a new pricing structure on July 17, 2022.

We hope this new fare structure will not only help driver-partners reduce the burden of rising costs, it’ll also create a better and more reliable platform experience for riders like you. This may provide a more stable supply of cars on the road, especially during peak hours and weekends.

The new pricing structure is applicable to all¹ Uber riding options with upfront fare pricing, including UberX, Uber Taxi, Flash, Assist, Uber Pet, Comfort, UberXL and Black.

• ¹Changes above does not apply to Uber Taxi (Metered Pricing) pilot option.
• ²Peak hours and weekends:
  Monday to Friday (including public holidays), 7am to 10am;
  Monday to Friday (including public holidays), 4pm to 8pm; and
  full day on Saturdays and Sundays.
• ³All UberX, Flash, Assist and Uber Pet trips to and from the Hong Kong International Airport will be charged according to the same fare structure as New Territory trips. However, minimum fare during peak hour & weekends and non-peak hours will be HK$53 and HK$50 respectively. 
• ⁴An additional HK$20 surcharge for all Uber Pet trips remains applicable.
• Dynamic pricing is still in place depending on real-time demand and supply in any hour of a day.
• All currencies in Hong Kong Dollars.
