About the Role

We’re looking for a collaborative and results-oriented Earner & Marketplace Operations Manager to help shape the future of Uber Eats in Chile, one of Uber’s fastest-growing markets.

In this role, you will design and execute high-impact initiatives that help keep our marketplace healthy and efficient by balancing supply and demand across both short-term and long-term horizons. You’ll leverage data-driven insights, partner closely with local and regional stakeholders, and lead projects that influence marketplace performance, pricing strategy, user behavior, and operational excellence.

What You Will Do

  • Marketplace Strategy & Operations: Own the Eats marketplace strategy for Chile, including courier engagement, retention, incentive programs, and other initiatives that support marketplace growth and reliability. Develop and execute initiatives that improve marketplace efficiency and help maintain a healthy balance between supply and demand.
  • Data Analysis & Insights: Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, uncover opportunities, and support key business decisions. Generate actionable insights that inform incentive design, marketplace reliability initiatives, and operational strategy.
  • Strategic Planning & Advisory: Partner with senior leadership to shape long-term marketplace strategy through data-driven recommendations.
  • Define critical performance metrics, build reporting frameworks, and develop dashboards that support strategic decision-making.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Product, Regional Operations, Data Science, Partner Management, Finance, and Customer Support teams to drive marketplace improvements and support broader business initiatives. Ensure marketplace insights are effectively translated into actions that improve business performance.
  • Performance Management: Establish, monitor, and evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) for marketplace initiatives and incentive programs. Measure impact, identify areas for optimization, and continuously improve program effectiveness.

What You Will Need

Basic Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in operations, strategy, consulting, analytics, technology, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience using data to inform decisions and solve complex business challenges.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets.
  • Experience with SQL or other data querying tools is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to break down ambiguous problems, prioritize effectively, and develop practical, data-driven solutions.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a detail-oriented manner.
  • Experience communicating complex analyses and recommendations to diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and build strong working relationships.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment and adapting to changing priorities.
  • Professional proficiency in both Spanish and English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in technology companies, on-demand marketplaces, platform businesses, or startup environments.
  • Familiarity with experimentation methodologies, including A/B testing and basic statistical concepts.
  • Experience designing, measuring, or optimizing incentive programs and operational processes.
