Associate Program Manager, Tech
About the Role
The mission of the Uber Global Scaled Solutions (GSS) team is to transform Uber's best ideas into agile, global solutions. GSS partners with product and engineering teams across Uber in order to provide tech-enabled operations solutions. We are driven by a desire to achieve industry-leading efficiency and cost while delivering output of the highest quality.
---- What the Candidate Will Do ----
- Work closely with Uber operations program managers to automate tasks using GenAI and other technologies
- Manage a team of EXTs - operations and tech - to deliver automation solutions and platforms
- Manage engagements with multiple stakeholders (regional teams, vendors, product, engineering) and ensure delivery of the highest quality within the agreed-upon timelines
- Collaborate with engineering and product stakeholders to identify areas of synergies
- Report the status of programs to our stakeholders, senior management, and cross-functional teams in a clear and concise manner
- Manage timelines, deadlines, feature sets, risks, change requests, releases, and track project budget and financial metrics
---- Basic Qualifications ----
- Undergraduate degree in computer engineering or other technical fields
- Demonstrated ability to automate and optimise operations tasks using GenAI and other tech
- Technically savvy and able to ramp up on new technologies quickly
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals
- Experience with process design and optimization

- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders. This role will require you to work with other operations, product, and engineering teams
- Self-motivated with a strong affinity for vision setting, strategic problem solving and driving action
