Regional Operations Manager, Driver Lifecycle
About the Role
As a Regional Operations Manager, Driver Lifecycle, you will help shape how drivers discover, join, and re-engage with Uber across the EMEA region.
Working at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and operations, you’ll lead initiatives that drive sustainable supply growth and improve the driver experience. You’ll collaborate with diverse teams across Product, CRM, Marketing, Data Science, Legal, Tax, and Operations to deliver impactful, scalable solutions.
This role is ideal for someone who is curious, analytical, and excited to influence business outcomes in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where different perspectives are valued.
What the Candidate Will Do
- Driver Lifecycle Strategy: Shape the acquisition, onboarding, and resurrection strategy for drivers across the EMEA region. In this role, you will go deep into driver lifecycle metrics (top of funnel, in-funnel, resurrection), to identify friction points, unlock incremental growth, and to design scalable processes for markets in the region
- Shape Strategy & Tactics: Develop insights and frameworks to guide regional strategy, define priorities, and influence investment decisions.
- Run & Execute Analyses: Use data to understand business trends, identify opportunities, and evaluate the impact of incentives, and operational changes. Manage projects to make these a reality.
- Build Dashboards and Reports: Maintain and update dashboards that track key performance indicators for supply, pricing, and marketplace health.
- Bridge Product & Ops: Act as the connective tissue between global Product teams and local Operations. You’ll influence the product roadmap based on regional needs and lead the rollout of new features.
- Scale Best Practices: Transition ambiguous market challenges into structured, scalable SOPs that can be deployed across EMEA markets.
Basic Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in technology/consulting/or other fast-paced operational environments. Experience working with Product on feature launches, etc. is a strong plus.
- Ability to synthesize large datasets into actionable insights and solutions - Proficiency in SQL (Intermediate required; Advanced preferred).
- You have a proven understanding of the project management fundamentals, and can implement cross-functional projects.
- You are good at working with diverse teams, understanding different perspectives and building solutions together.
- Strategic Mindset: You are comfortable in the detail, but are also able to see the bigger picture and pivot strategically as the environment around you changes
