Consumer Growth Manager — Uber Eats Japan
About the role
We're looking for a data-driven growth professional to drive consumer acquisition, engagement, and retention initiatives across Japan. You'll partner with Marketing, Operations, and cross-functional teams to execute high-impact campaigns that grow and retain our user base.
What you'll do
Campaign execution & growth strategy
- Execute consumer growth campaigns across the full lifecycle: acquisition, engagement, and retention
- Translate data insights into actionable recommendations and execution plans
- Support development of consumer growth strategy in partnership with Marketing and Operations
Operations & performance management
- Manage day-to-day campaign execution, including timelines, coordination, and goal tracking
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics: user health, campaign effectiveness, and communication performance
- Provide insights and recommendations based on performance data
Cross-functional collaboration
- Coordinate with Operations, Sales, Strategy & Planning, Marketing, Legal, Product, and Global teams
- Align stakeholders to ensure smooth campaign delivery and strategic alignment
- Communicate clearly across functions to drive execution excellence
Basic qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in marketing, operations, strategy, or finance
- Experience in fast-growing or consumer-focused businesses
- Strong analytical skills: SQL proficiency and comfort working with data to drive decisions
- Fluent English with the ability to communicate clearly across functions
- #GoGetIt mindset with customer obsession
Preferred qualifications
- Experience owning consumer growth, lifecycle management, or retention strategies
- Japanese fluency or strong working proficiency
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Clear communicator with a collaborative, growth-oriented approach
