Head of Uber Health, APAC

Sales, Sales & Account Management
in Sydney, Australia

About the Role

Uber Health is transforming how people access care by making transportation to and from healthcare services more reliable, scalable, and equitable. As Head of Uber Health, APAC, you will own the strategy, growth, and operational execution for our healthcare business across the region.

International expansion is one of the most important growth levers for Uber Health, and APAC represents a highly strategic opportunity. Success in this region requires a focused, market-by-market approach—starting with scaling a strong foundation in Australia and New Zealand (ANZ), and then defining and executing a thoughtful expansion strategy across broader APAC markets.

In this role, you will first lead the acceleration and scaling of our ANZ business, deepening product-market fit, strengthening customer partnerships, and building a repeatable operating model. From this foundation, you will develop a clear roadmap for APAC expansion in collaboration with S&P, identifying where to play, how to win, and what capabilities are required to succeed across diverse healthcare systems and regulatory environments.

What the Candidate Will Do

  1. Scale ANZ as the regional foundation: Lead the next phase of growth in Australia and New Zealand, strengthening commercial performance, deepening customer relationships, and building a scalable, repeatable operating model.
  2. Define and execute APAC expansion strategy in collaboration with S&P: Develop a clear, prioritized roadmap for entering and scaling additional APAC markets, grounded in market insights, regulatory considerations, and business impact.
  3. Own regional performance: Set and drive the APAC go-to-market plan, including revenue growth and operations excellence across priority markets.
  4. Lead and develop a high-performing team: Build, inspire, and manage a regional team across sales, customer success, and implementation with clear accountability and a strong performance culture.
  5. Build and grow strategic partnerships: Establish and expand senior relationships across health systems, payers, government agencies, and ecosystem partners. Partner closely with Product, Policy, Legal, Finance, Marketing, and Regional Operations to align priorities, accelerate execution, and navigate market-specific complexities.
  6. Represent the voice of APAC Health customers: Advocate for regional customer needs, shaping global product and strategy while providing regular business insights and updates to senior leadership.

What the Candidate Will Need

  1. 10+ years of experience, including at least 4 years in senior leadership roles with P&L ownership. Master's or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.
  2. Experience leading commercial, operational, and cross-functional teams (e.g., sales, account management, operations, product/tech partnership).
  3. Leadership experience in healthcare, with strong familiarity across APAC healthcare systems, stakeholders, and regulatory environments.
  4. Deep understanding of healthcare delivery, reimbursement models, and policy dynamics across key APAC markets.
  5. Proven track record of scaling businesses in ANZ and/or launching new markets internationally. Experience operating in global organizations and influencing stakeholders across regions and time zones.
  6. Strong operator with a bias for action; able to create structure and drive clarity in ambiguous environments. Strategic thinker who can balance near-term growth with long-term market expansion, managing a portfolio of initiatives across different stages of maturity.
