Senior Account Manager Grocery & Retail NZ

About the Role

We’re seeking a sharp, highly motivated Senior Account Manager to join our Enterprise Account Management team in New Zealand. In this role, you’ll partner with key grocery and retail merchants to drive strategic growth, improve store operations, and enhance customer satisfaction on the Uber Eats platform. Your consultative approach and commercial insight will be key in building lasting relationships, optimising performance, and expanding high-quality selection for our ANZ customers.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage a portfolio of grocery & retail partnerships in NZ focussing on bringing selection and operational excellence to Uber Eats customers
  • Own and manage your portfolio’s performance through joint business planning and identifying and executing growth opportunities and improving operational performance
  • Focus on growing accounts by selling strategic Uber services such as ads, offers and Uber direct
  • Strengthen partner relationships to enhance retention and long-term value
  • Act as a trusted consultant, advising partners on growth strategies and best practices
  • Support and execute core operational processes to ensure seamless partner experience

Basic Qualifications

  • Multiple years of experience in account management, business development or partner management
  • Proven track record in building strong relationships with partners and achieving sales and business objectives
  • Strong commercial acumen and a deep understanding of business strategy and partner dynamics
  • A self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage diverse stakeholders across businesses and levels

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the grocery and retail segment preferred
  • Experience in E-Commerce partner management preferred
