Data Analytics Operations Manager
About the Role
We are looking for an Operations Manager to lead the implementation of Uber’s Future of Work (FoW) agenda within Mexico Mobility Operations. This role is key to ensuring that Uber remains at the forefront of regulatory innovation, while continuously improving the experience we offer to our earners.
You’ll help design and operationalize complex workflows that align with evolving labor frameworks, working across legal, product, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution.
This is a unique opportunity to help shape Uber’s long-term operational model in one of its most important markets.
What You'll Need
- Proficiency in SQL for complex queries, joins, and working with relational databases.
- Solid experience with Python for data transformation and process automation (e.g., pandas, requests, scheduling libraries).
- Experience working with REST APIs, including data ingestion and integration.
- Strong ETL and data handling skills: cleaning, validating, and enriching data from multiple sources.
- Experience with process automation tools (e.g., Python scripts, Google Apps Script, cron jobs).
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong documentation habits and a structured approach to knowledge sharing.
- Proactive, self-starter attitude: able to identify and implement automation, analysis or process improvements independently.
What You'll Do
- Build regulatory dashboards and monitor compliance metrics across Social Security, deactivations, and contracts.
- Automate recurring workflows (e.g., deductions, receipt generation, SSN fetching) using Python and scheduling tools.
- Ingest and clean data from internal systems, REST APIs, and vendor sources for process execution and audits.
- Run monthly ops cycles, validating outputs for payments, incentives, and registration tracking.
- Investigate and analyze appeals, fraud, and arrears using SQL and structured data.
- Support productization of MVP tools through usage analysis and proactive feedback to Product teams.
