Merchants (Restaurants) form the backbone of our business, and supporting restaurants is one of the key reasons we exist. From multinationals to mom-and-pop shops, they produce the delicious food that we deliver to our consumers every day, and Taiwan’s restaurant ecosystem and vibrant food culture are why Uber Eats in Taiwan has grown to be one of our top 4 most successful markets globally.
The Merchant team reports directly to the General Manager of Uber Eats Taiwan and covers strategy, sales, account management, and operations.

Uber Eats Taiwan is seeking a talented Senior Strategy & Operations Manager (Affordability & Co-Marketing) to lead the development and execution of strategies that generate attractive promotions through win-win commercial constructs with our restaurant partners.
Your Impact in Role
(1) Growth Strategy Development and Implementation:
- Leverage data insights, experiment results, and resources to develop comprehensive go-to-market strategies that drives platform topline growth
- Identify and evaluate potential promotion products that can enhance merchant growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategies with overall business goals.
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics to ensure strategic goals are met.
(2) Co-Marketing Initiatives Optimization:
- Oversee the co-marketing framework, a critical component of merchant growth, aimed at maximizing the performance of merchants’ promotion campaigns with enhanced visibility.
- Own the co-marketing deal desk, working with the Consumer team to conduct comprehensive resource planning and drive the effectiveness of the deal desk.
- Collaborate with the Account Management team to ensure the deal desk is reasonable, flexible, and tailored to merchant needs.
- Track and analyze the effectiveness of co-marketing efforts, making data-driven adjustments as needed.
(3) Co-Fund Planning:
- Understand the multifaceted business impact of co-funding budgets and the relationship between P&L
- Maximize the return for co-fund budget and ensure co-fund budget impact meet business goal
- Provide clear rationale, governance, review and optimize the workstream whenever needed
- Model out various scenarios to identify the best possible solutions.
(4) Stakeholder Management:
- Work closely with Account Management, Product teams, and the Consumer team to execute the above strategies.
- Influence the decision-making process to achieve mutual goals.
- Communicate regularly with senior leadership to provide updates and insights on growth initiatives.
The Experience You'll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in strategy, operations, or marketing
- Strong strategic thinking and data-driven problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
- Advanced presentation skills and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in Mandarin and English is a must
Preferred Qualifications
- A background in a consulting firm and large consumer internet companies. Experience in product go-to-market strategy. Studied or worked abroad.
- Experience and strong interest in online advertising, marketing, sales, and category / account management will be a very big plus..
- SQL knowledge
