About the Role

We’re looking for a Product Marketing Manager to lead customer experience initiatives across Uber’s Retail business. This role will focus on improving the end-to-end retail experience – helping customers get what they need with confidence, whether it’s ingredients for dinner, a forgotten charger before a flight, or a last-minute gift delivered on time.

You’ll partner closely with Product, Operations, Data Science, CRM, Marketplace, and Customer Support teams to bring new customer experiences to market and improve the moments that matter most across shopping, fulfillment, delivery, and support. Whether it’s launching products that improve order quality or building growth campaigns that drive engagement and marketplace health, your work will directly improve the consistency and reliability of the Retail experience at scale.

As Retail continues to scale, delivering consistently high-quality experiences will be critical to driving retention, repeat usage, and long-term customer trust. The ideal candidate is customer-obsessed, operationally curious, and excited by solving complex problems across customer experience, fulfillment, and marketplace dynamics – balancing the needs of customers, shoppers, and retailers to make ordering retail items on Uber Eats feel seamless, dependable, and worth coming back to.

What You'll Do:

  1. Lead go-to-market strategy for customer experience initiatives across Uber’s Retail business.
  2. Partner cross-functionally with Product, Operations, Marketplace, CRM, Analytics, and Regional Marketing teams to shape and launch new customer and fulfillment experiences.
  3. Develop audience-led positioning, messaging, and value propositions grounded in customer, shopper, and marketplace insights.
  4. Partner with Research & Insights to identify learning needs, shape research agendas, and translate findings into actionable strategies.
  5. Drive adoption and engagement for new products, fulfillment experiences, and marketplace programs through growth initiatives and experimentation.
  6. Advocate for customer, shopper, and retailer needs throughout product development and go-to-market planning.
  7. Support strategic planning by sizing opportunities, evaluating trade-offs, and helping teams make customer- and business-informed decisions.
  8. Build scalable frameworks, toolkits, and best practices to support execution across global markets.

Basic Qualifications

  1. 4+ years of marketing experience, including 2+ years in product marketing.
  2. Experience partnering cross-functionally with Product, Operations, Analytics, Research, and Marketing teams.
  3. Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to translate customer and marketplace insights into actionable strategies.
  4. Experience developing go-to-market strategies, positioning, and messaging for new or evolving products and experiences.
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across a highly matrixed organization.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Experience working on customer experience, multi-sided marketplace, platform or fulfillment-focused products – in particular needing to balance the needs of many audience groups.
  2. Comfortable operating in ambiguity and solving complex problems across multiple teams and workflows.
  3. Strong leadership presence and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders at all levels.
  4. Experience building and scaling global or multi-market programs.
  5. Retail, grocery, marketplace, e-commerce, or consumer technology experience preferred.
