At Uber, we’re transforming the future of retail by building the world’s leading marketplace for on-demand local commerce. As part of the Global Merchant Operations team for Retail, you’ll help deliver an exceptional experience for merchants on the Uber platform. You’ll partner closely with merchants as they grow their business with Uber and create outstanding delivery experiences for customers.

  • Define and Lead Strategic Vision: Partner across teams to shape the long-term approach to merchant growth. Identify the key processes, products, and initiatives required to deliver on that vision.
  • Drive Cross-Functional Execution: Build strong relationships across commercial teams, operations, tech, and other partners to deliver results and move initiatives forward effectively.
  • Communicate with Impact: Synthesize insights into clear, actionable recommendations. Lead internal reviews and facilitate discussions with global commercial teams and senior stakeholders.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; experience using data to drive decisions and improve processes
  • Experience building operational tools, frameworks, or processes that improve efficiency and outcomes
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and deliver complex programs end-to-end with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and commercial audiences
