About the Role

Argentina is one of Uber’s fastest-growing and most strategically important Mobility markets globally. As the business continues to scale across products, customer segments, and geographies, ensuring that riders have the right experience for every use case becomes increasingly critical to sustaining growth and deepening engagement.

As Head of Portfolio, Argentina, you will lead the team responsible for shaping and optimizing Uber’s rider value proposition across the country. From premium offerings to daily affordability products, from airport journeys to everyday commuting, you will ensure our portfolio meets the needs of Argentina’s diverse rider base while driving sustainable growth and engagement.

This role sits at the intersection of strategy, operations, marketplace dynamics, and customer experience. You will develop a deep understanding of rider behavior, identify unmet needs and growth opportunities, and partner across the organization to ensure Uber delivers compelling experiences across all customer segments and trip occasions.

You will lead a team responsible for portfolio performance and growth, working closely with City Operations, Marketplace, Marketing, Product, Airports, and Regional teams to align investments and drive execution. As a member of the Argentina leadership team, you will help shape how the business evolves to better serve riders and unlock long-term growth opportunities.

What the Candidate Will Do

  • Own Argentina’s Portfolio Strategy: Define and execute the strategy for Uber’s portfolio of rider offerings across Argentina. Ensure the business has the right products, positioning, and value proposition to serve a broad range of customer needs and use cases.
  • Put the Rider at the Center: Develop a deep understanding of rider behavior, preferences, and pain points across customer segments. Use those insights to improve the customer experience, strengthen engagement, and drive long-term loyalty.
  • Drive Engagement & Growth: Own key rider engagement outcomes and identify opportunities to increase frequency, retention, and adoption across the portfolio. Design and execute growth initiatives that expand usage across customer segments and trip occasions.
  • Build a Winning Portfolio: Continuously assess portfolio performance and identify opportunities to improve product mix, customer segmentation, pricing architecture, and value propositions. Ensure the portfolio evolves alongside market needs and business priorities.
  • Lead Strategic Growth Bets: Develop, test, and scale new initiatives that unlock incremental demand and strengthen Uber’s position across different rider needs and use cases.
  • Partner Across the Organization: Work closely with City Operations teams to align investments and marketplace priorities with rider needs. Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Marketplace, Airports, and Regional teams to deliver a seamless and differentiated customer experience.
  • Own High-Impact Rider Experiences: Partner with internal and external stakeholders to improve critical rider journeys and ensure Uber delivers a best-in-class experience across key travel and mobility moments.
  • Lead and Develop a High-Performing Team: Manage, coach, and develop a team of high-performing operators. Foster a culture of customer obsession, analytical rigor, ownership, and execution excellence.

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in strategy, operations, product strategy, growth, consulting, marketplaces, consumer technology, or related fields.
  • Previous people management experience with a track record of developing and leading high-performing teams.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English.
  • Strong customer-centric mindset with the ability to translate customer insights into business strategy and execution.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort making data-driven decisions in complex environments.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders across multiple teams.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, including experience presenting to senior leadership.
  • Ability to balance long-term strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Strong ownership mentality and ability to thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in mobility, marketplaces, consumer technology, growth, product strategy, or customer lifecycle management is strongly preferred.
