Account Executive - Uber Direct

About the Role

Join Uber Direct, our last-mile delivery solution helping businesses scale with fast, reliable delivery. As part of our sales team, you’ll play a key role in driving growth by identifying new opportunities and connecting businesses with Uber's innovative logistics services.

In this role, you’ll engage with prospects across industries, understand their unique delivery needs, and position Uber Direct as a strategic solution to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to design impactful, scalable delivery partnerships.

What You'll Do

  • Own the sales pipeline: Drive lead generation and qualification for Uber Direct’s delivery solutions, from prospecting through close
  • Conduct outreach activities: Use a variety of channels—including cold calls and email campaigns—to engage potential clients and build strong relationships
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with teams like Operations and Product to tailor delivery solutions that meet each client’s specific needs
  • Present Uber Direct’s value: Articulate our platform’s operational benefits, scalability, and ROI for potential clients
  • Use CRM tools effectively: Track progress, manage your sales pipeline, and continuously improve outreach strategies to meet and exceed sales targets

What You'll Need

  • Sales or business development experience: Proven track record in prospecting, lead qualification, and closing new business
  • Strong communication and presentation skills: Able to clearly convey value, tailor messages to diverse audiences, and build lasting relationships
  • CRM and sales tool proficiency: Comfortable working with tools like Salesforce, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office
  • Logistics or last-mile delivery knowledge: Experience in logistics, fulfillment, or selling operational technology is a strong advantage
  • Customer-centric approach: Prior experience supporting SMBs, mid-market, or enterprise clients in logistics or eCommerce is ideal
  • Analytical mindset: Ability to use data to identify trends, prioritize opportunities, and tell a compelling story
  • Strategic thinking: Skilled in diagnosing client needs and aligning solutions to long-term business goalsProactive and curious: Motivated to research prospects, understand industry trends, and continuously improve
