Franchise Account Manager, Enterprise - Uber Eats
About the Role
The Enterprise Team manages relationships with some of the largest and most valuable Restaurant Partners in South Africa. As a Franchisee Account Manager, you will build on strong relationships established with corporate brand teams, while owning the development of direct relationships with key franchisee groups to drive growth.
In this role, you will be accountable for outcomes across marketing, operations, and trip growth. You will partner closely with cross functional teams, act as the voice of the customer internally, and balance strategic thinking with strong operational execution.
What You Will Do
- Build and grow long-term partnerships by leading day-to-day interactions with key decision-makers within your managed book of franchise groups
- Navigate ambiguity, shifting priorities, and internal complexity to unlock value for Partners and for Uber
- Increase product adoption and secure marketing investment by clearly communicating the value of our products with a lens of creativity to differentiate our offerings
- Scale success by identifying key operational opportunities within your managed book and developing clear strategies to drive positive change
- Collaborate across operations, marketing, product, and legal to be the voice of the customer, resolve blockers, and deliver solutions that scale
- Bring your analytical A-game by developing analyses to understand trends, provide meaningful insights, and track the impact of initiatives against our growth goals
- Stay resilient through roadblocks, ensuring nothing gets missed while consistently finding new ways to contribute to our partnerships
- Lead recurring business reviews to highlight progress, address remaining opportunities, and ensure we are hitting targets for net acquisition and trip growth
What You Will Need
- At least 4 years of experience in account management, consultative sales, digital media, or business development
- Experience using data and insights to inform strategy, influence stakeholders, and measure impact
- Proficiency in Salesforce and Excel
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated systems thinking and the ability to work well in highly ambiguous environments
- Excellent negotiation, forecasting, and cross-functional collaboration abilities
Bonus Points
- Background in QSR, restaurant advertising, or third-party marketplaces
- Experience managing/working with enterprise partnerships, franchise organizations, or global brands
