Strategy & Operations Manager, Scaled Ops RoEMEA
About the Role
As Uber Delivery accelerates its growth across EMEA, we are establishing a centralized Scaled Operations Hub in Amsterdam to drive consistent, high-quality execution across a diverse and expanding set of markets. We are looking for strategic and operationally minded individuals to join the Scaled Operations team for the Rest of EMEA, with a focus on newly launched and emerging markets.
In this role, you will help rethink how we operate at scale. You will review decentralized processes across markets and work to redesign them into more robust, efficient, and innovative operating models, leveraging best practices already established in EMEA while also exploring new approaches — including experimentation, test-and-learn methodologies, and the use of AI-driven solutions.
Your scope might span multiple operational domains during this first phase, but the team will ultimately be organised around the following domains: Merchant, Earner, Marketplace and Consumer. You will integrate into one of these pillars based on your experience, strengths, and where you can drive the greatest impact.
Based on current needs, we have a preference for profiles with experience in Merchant Operations (e.g. driving Ads and Offers adoption among merchants) and Consumer Operations(e.g. leading high-impact initiatives across key consumer lifecycles, including new eater acquisition and churned user resurrection).
We are looking for versatile profiles who can navigate diverse problem statements across operational verticals, combining strong analytical thinking, operational rigor, and strategic perspective.
This role is ideal for someone energized by complexity, passionate about operational excellence, and motivated by creating impact at scale. We have a strong preference for candidates with existing experience in one of the vertical ops domains.
