About the Role

As an Account Manager on Uber for Business, you will manage a large portfolio of mid-market accounts, fully owning customer relationships post-sale and launch. You will be responsible for driving retention and revenue growth through strategic upselling and cross-selling initiatives, while leveraging your product expertise to deliver best practices, trusted recommendations, and a world-class customer experience. Beyond transactional selling, you will act as a strategic business consultant for C-Suite executives, using data-driven insights to help reimagine how organizations move people and goods. In this role, you will lead cross-functional initiatives, pilot innovative use cases, and consistently deliver scalable revenue growth within complex business environments.

  1. Work with the Account Executive and Client Onboarding Specialists teams to execute successful launches across mid-market accounts and create adoption and growth plans for our clients
  2. Grow and retain a book of business through upselling and cross-selling and relationship building with a focus on account expansion while exceeding a quota
  3. Work cross-functionally to drive efficiencies throughout the account lifecycle
  4. Identify and build a pipeline of expansion opportunities within your book of business
  5. Derive qualitative and quantitative insights, leveraging direct customer stories, feedback and data trends
  6. Make informed recommendations to internal teams on how to improve the customer experience across different types of accounts
  7. Work directly with clients to improve the employee and administrator Uber for Business experience

---- Basic Qualifications ----

  1. Minimum 4 years of experience in a client-facing function
  2. Experience working against revenue-driving goals and quota
  3. Excellent written & verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  4. Proven track record of operational and sales excellence, developing strategies to expand accounts and implementing them effectively
  5. Proven history of managing high-ACV (Annual Contract Value) deals and navigating complex, multi-threaded decision-making processes.
  6. Collaborate in a fast-paced team environment and have a competitive edge
  7. Strong use of insights and confidence around data-driven decision making and sellingSalesforce expertise
  8. Experience working with support teams to drive process improvement towards clients
  9. SaaS experience as Sales Executive or BDR
  10. Demonstrated ability to lead without formal authority, rallying internal implementation, marketing, and product teams to deliver for the client
  11. Exceptional ability to work with data. You should be comfortable using insights to challenge a client’s status quo and drive ROI-based selling.
