About the Role

Uber Eats Grocery & Retail (GR) is experiencing significant growth in its business and is looking for a Senior Product Manager to develop and execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for key components of the GR business. These include:

  • Grow the number of users who use Uber Eats for their grocery and retail delivery needs
  • Enable merchants to link their loyalty programs to the Uber Eats platform and improve the end-to-end product experience to drive more users to link loyalty and obtain benefits from it
  • Improve conversion and retention of users via improving affordability of the platform

What the Candidate Will Do

  • Build compelling user experiences that ensures more users sign-up or link merchant loyalty programs on the platform, across GR but also restaurant delivery
  • Scale a loyalty platform than enables merchants to partner with Uber Eats on innovative loyalty offerings and benefits for users on Uber Eats
  • Develop and execute strategies for how to use pricing intelligence and models to help grocery and retail merchants grow their business on Uber
  • Partner cross-functionally with design, data science, marketing, and regional ops to drive alignment and execution across the org.
  • Be the program owner for key areas of Grocery and Retail business, driving strategy reviews, narrative alignment, and experimentation frameworks to influence product and marketing roadmaps company-wide.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product management experience with a track record of building and launching impactful consumer-facing products at scale.
  • Proven ability to leverage data and analytics to uncover user insights, diagnose funnel friction, and inform prioritization and product strategy.
  • Strong consumer intuition and empathy — you deeply understand how users make trade-offs around price, value, and choice, and can translate those insights into product investment recommendations
  • Demonstrated success working in cross-functional environments, partnering closely with design, data science, engineering, and marketing to deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience crafting narratives that influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Marketplace expertise: Experience in product management at scaled two-sided eCommerce marketplaces
  • Customer Obsession: A track record of distilling complex operational constraints into elegant, frictionless, and intuitive user interfaces
  • Strategic Vision: Ability to craft a compelling product narrative and effectively communicate trade-offs to senior leadership and stakeholders.

For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$190,000 per year - USD$211,000 per year.

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$190,000 per year - USD$211,000 per year.

For Sunnyvale, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$190,000 per year - USD$211,000 per year.

For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
