About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and data-driven Head of Commercial Operations to lead the strategic and operational backbone of our Delivery business in Germany. This is a senior leadership role where you’ll own how we plan, forecast, scale, and execute our commercial strategy—ensuring that our sales teams are set up for success across every stage of the customer lifecycle.

Reporting directly into the Delivery General Manager DACH and working closely with Sales, Strategy & Planning, Finance, HR, and Deal Desk, you’ll operate at the heart of a fast-paced, mission-driven business that powers real-world impact.

What You Will Do

  • Lead with Vision: Manage and grow a high-performing team of two DCO Analysts; coach them to be thought partners and force multipliers to the business.

  • Drive Operational Excellence: Design, implement, and continuously improve sales support systems, tools, and processes that enable scalability and agility.

  • Own Forecasting and Planning: Build and refine sophisticated forecasting models to inform commercial planning and resource allocation.

  • Champion Data-Driven Decisions: Lead in-depth analysis of sales performance and funnel health to generate insights that influence GTM strategy and drive growth.

  • Run Strategic Cadence: Lead and streamline weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual business cadences to ensure clarity, accountability, and alignment across stakeholders.

  • Partner Cross-Functionally: Be the connective tissue across Sales, Finance, S&P, HR, Legal, and Marketing—aligning people, process, and strategy to fuel growth.

  • Steer Strategic Projects: Lead and support high-impact initiatives within and beyond Germany to enhance sales productivity and drive market expansion.

What You Will Need

  • 8+ years of experience in Commercial or Sales Operations within a high-growth, performance-driven environment—ideally with ownership of a 100+ person sales org.

  • Proven track record in building and leading operational strategies that drive measurable commercial results.

  • Deep expertise in sales forecasting, territory planning, quota design, incentive compensation, and GTM execution.

  • Strong analytical acumen, with the ability to turn complex data into strategic recommendations using SQL, Salesforce, and visualization tools.

  • Executive presence and excellent communication skills; comfortable influencing senior stakeholders and presenting to leadership.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead through ambiguity, take ownership, and deliver outcomes independently.

  • Fluent in both German and English—capable of navigating local nuance and global complexity.

  • A collaborative mindset and passion for leading through others, developing talent, and cultivating high-performing teams.
