Account Executive - Uber Eats (Prague)

Sales, Sales & Account Management
in Prague, Czech Republic

About the Role

Working as an Account Executive at Uber Eats in Prague means building the future of how your city eats from the ground up. This isn’t a role where you wait for leads to come to you; it’s a high-stakes, high-autonomy position that requires you to navigate the messy reality of a competitive market. You’ll be the face of Uber for restaurant owners, turning cold outreach into long-term partnerships.

The pace is intense and the ambiguity is real—you’ll often have to make calls with imperfect information and pivot your strategy as the market shifts. We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just want a "sales job," but someone with the grit to handle the "no’s," the curiosity to understand a chef’s pain points, and the ownership to see a partnership through from the first call to the first delivery. If you’re energized by the challenge of building a network in a fast-evolving environment and are ready to own your results, this is where you’ll grow.

What You’ll Do

  • Navigate the Hustle: Lead high-volume cold-calling and email campaigns to identify and acquire new restaurant partners in a crowded and fast-moving market.

  • Build Trust Fast: Execute sales campaigns designed by our Commercial Operations team, adapting your pitch on the fly to meet the unique needs of local Czech restaurants.

  • Negotiate & Close: Navigate complex negotiations with everyone from small family-owned bistros to top-tier enterprise accounts, securing mutually beneficial deal terms.

  • Own the Onboarding: Guide new partners through the integration process, unblocking technical or operational hurdles to ensure they are set up for long-term success on the platform.

  • Solve Cross-Functionally: Collaborate with Marketing and Operations to resolve blockers, sharing local market feedback to help us build a better product for the Czech Republic.

  • Drive with Data: Analyze market trends and competitor activity to refine your territory plan, making trade-offs on where to spend your time for maximum impact.

  • Stay Resilient: Thrive in an environment where priorities shift quickly and the answers aren't always in a playbook—you’ll be expected to help write it.

Basic Qualifications

  • Sales Experience: Proficiency in outbound sales (cold-calling, prospecting) and experience managing a pipeline within a CRM (e.g., Salesforce).

  • Communication: Native or fluent level Czech and business-level English are required to navigate local partnerships and internal global collaboration.

  • Resilience: A proven track record of maintaining high activity levels and a proactive attitude in the face of rejection or challenging targets.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Domain Expertise: Prior experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry, or a deep understanding of the Czech food delivery landscape.

  • Stakeholder Management: Ability to influence diverse personalities, from busy restaurant owners to internal cross-functional leads.

  • Strategic Thinking: Experience identifying untapped market opportunities and developing creative solutions to win competitive accounts.
