Uber is very convenient for people departing from or arriving to SXB. The airport is located in the Alsace region of France, close to the country’s border with Germany. Strasbourg Airport lies 15 kilometers (9 miles) southwest of Strasbourg city center, a 15-minute trip in ideal driving conditions. It hosts around 1 million passengers a year and mainly serves domestic and European airlines.

Being a small airport, Strasbourg Airport to easy to get around on foot. A dedicated reception point for people with reduced mobility is located in the public area of the terminal, and from check-in a qualified member of staff will be on hand to assist you. Passengers with reduced mobility are offered priority access to their aeroplane by means of a wheelchair adapted to the degree of assistance required.
Though a smaller airport, SXB has plenty to offer when it comes to refreshments. The arrival area, departure area and boarding area each have a restaurant space, offering main meals, fast food, snacks, confectionary, pastries, hot and cold drinks, and beers, wines and spirits. Food outlets also sell local cuisine such as Gugelhupf, Streusel and cheese pretzels.
Strasbourg Airport has several shops that can help address your retail needs. The first-floor boarding area has an extensive duty-free store, offering perfumes, cosmetics, and regional products such as food, souvenirs, wine, and eau de vie. The ground-floor departures area offers newspapers and magazines, books, gifts, and last-minute travel items. Relaxation areas in both the arrivals and departures halls have tables, chairs, and outlets for recharging laptops and mobile phones.
Although there aren’t any hotels on-site, plenty of hotels are located nearby. The districts of Entzheim and Lingolsheim are located conveniently close to Strasbourg Airport and have accommodations to suit all budgets. The city of Strasbourg itself is only a 15-minute ride away, offering lodging in the heart of the city for people with time to travel.
At the center of the terminal is an information desk where travelers can find tips about all aspects of the airport. In the terminal hall is a touch-screen computer that provides practical information to help passengers plan their journeys, as well as information on activities and events in the region. Also in the arrivals hall is a self-service black-and-white photocopier and a self-service photo booth. Baby-changing facilities can be found in the bathrooms in the arrivals area, and there is a dedicated area in the departures zone, too.
