From Terminal 1, head to Hall 1 or 3 to meet your driver. From Terminal 2, walk to the parking area at the lower level to meet your driver. From Terminal 3, follow signs to parking lot B5 or C2 for pickup. Cairo Airport is one of the busiest airports in Egypt, located close to Cairo, as well as Giza, which is home to Egypt’s iconic pyramids. Uber is an easy and convenient way to ride from the airport to the city center, a drive of about 25 kilometers (16 miles) that takes approximately 40 minutes.
Cairo Airport has 3 terminals, called T1, T2, and T3. T1 and T2/T3 are located about 1.8 miles apart, with an automated people mover and shuttle bus available to carry passengers between them. Each ride lasts about 10 minutes, so it’s easy to make an airport transfer.

Cairo Airport has a wide variety of shops offering products from top brands, plus souvenirs and last-minute items for those who need to pick up a gift for friends and family. Occupying a total of 4,000 square meters of retail space, Cairo Airport duty-free shops are an ideal place to relax before or after a long flight. These spacious shopping areas are located in the international and departures areas of all terminals.
One hotel is located within CAI itself, making it the perfect option for people arriving in the early hours of the morning or just needing somewhere for a quick rest during a lengthy airport transfer. More accommodation options are situated nearby, within neighboring areas like Al Wayli, about a kilometer (half a mile) from the airport. Most hotels close to the airport offer a shuttle bus, but you should always check with your hotel at the time of booking to make sure. Alternatively, you can request an Uber trip.
