About the Role

As a Strategic Agency Partnerships Lead, you will be responsible for expanding Uber Advertising’s position as an indispensable partner to priority agency holding companies. You will sit at the intersection of commercial strategy and relationship management, building deep, multi-level connections across agency investment, strategy, programmatic, and leadership teams.

This role requires a blend of commercial acumen, cross-functional leadership, and a hustle-oriented mindset to drive in-quarter revenue while building long-term, scalable joint business plans.

What You'll Do

  • Agency Partnership & Account Leadership: Build, maintain, and scale relationships across major agency stakeholders. Own the development of joint business plans (JBPs) in partnership with Global and regional leadership, acting as the bridge between global strategy and local execution.

  • Commercial Growth: Drive revenue performance while identifying new, scalable commercial opportunities across agency portfolios. Contribute to pipeline development, forecasting, and the operationalization of agency incentive programs.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Product, Marketing, Measurement, and Operations to deliver cohesive agency strategies. Bring structured marketplace feedback back to internal teams to directly shape our product roadmap and go-to-market narratives.

  • Enablement & Adoption: Educate agencies on Uber Advertising’s evolving product suite. Build playbooks and workflows that accelerate platform adoption, while empowering internal sales teams with strategic partnership insights.

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience

  • Experience in media, digital advertising, or platform partnerships.

  • Agency-Facing Expertise: A proven track record of managing and growing multi-million dollar advertising portfolios specifically with global agency holding companies or large agency networks.

  • Matrixed Environment Experience: Demonstrated success working cross-functionally and globally in a fast-paced, highly matrixed organization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • The Uber Hustle: Speed, resourcefulness, and a go-getter mentality. You thrive in ambiguity and love navigating fast-paced, evolving environments.

  • Data-Driven Storytelling: A creative storyteller who leverages data to quantify massive opportunities and influence senior decision-makers.

  • AdTech & Data Savvy: Comprehensive understanding of full-funnel measurement solutions (lift vs. attribution) and experience establishing data partnerships or 1P data solutions.

  • Trust & Leadership: A proven trust-builder who leads with respect, excels at motivating others, and is a champion for diversity, equity, and inclusion in the advertising industry.

For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$134,000 per year - USD$149,500 per year.

For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$149,000 per year - USD$166,000 per year.

For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award, sales bonuses & other types of comp. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
