Product Manager II, Mobile Marketing & Sharing
About the Role
Marketing Data Platform is an internal product built to ensure ease of ingesting and sharing events and signals for marketing optimization, attribution and measurement. This key role within our MarTech Product team will be pivotal in achieving a higher Return on Investment (ROI) on our marketing spends.
We expect the Product Manager to be highly technical and data-oriented. You will be working with and learning from a phenomenal team of product, engineering, data scientists, and business leaders.
What the Candidate Will Do
- Collect requirements from marketing, applied science, and line of business heads.
- Help scale the existing product to help global business and accommodate marketing requests
- Develop a vision and roadmap, plan deliverables, design and product launches
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, tracking, and data scientists to prioritize the roadmap
- Clearly communicate plans, insights, data, and results to executives highlighting the success of the product
- Monitor and measure launched products and use data for product refinement
- Constantly thinking about making the product self-serve and highly engineering code-free
Basic Qualifications
- 4+ years experience in a product role delivering highly successful and innovative products
- A technical undergraduate degree and/or equivalent work experience in a high-growth company or startup.
- Experience with building UX for technical and non-technical users
- Expertise in building data products and mobile app tracking
- A high bar across the board - from your own contributions to the people you work with to the products you work on.
- Constantly pushing toward clarity and delivery while balancing the need for a great collaboration.
- Never hesitate to roll up your sleeves and tackle something hands-on, you persevere when others fall away.
- Ability to leverage data to make decisions without getting stuck in analysis paralysis.
- Use user-centricity examples from your past product challenges to solve problems.
- Passion for Uber's mission and the company's hybrid technology/operations nature and a never-ending desire to grow and learn.
- Familiarity with marketing and MarTech products
- Familiarity with Jira (or similar tools)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in building B2B products
- Eng / Science background
