Vehicle options in Ghana
UberX in Accra and Kumasi
Most newer cars qualify to drive with uberX, the most popular vehicle option for riders in Accra and Kumasi.
Additional requirements
- 4-door sedan but hatchbacks are accepted
- Working windows and air conditioning
- No full-sized vans or trucks

Tips to upload your documents
- Upload a clear and readable copy
- Ensure your Vehicle Registration Number, Make and Model match the vehicle that is on your Uber account
- Remember to always upload the correct document to the field. Incorrect documents will not be accepted

- Please ensure the sticker number is clearly visible
Roadworthy Sticker
- Please upload a clear copy of the Roadworthy Sticker
- Please make sure the Certificate Number is clearly visible when uploading
How to load your documents
- Visit partners.uber.com and sign in with your email address and password
- Take a clear picture of your document and upload pictures of the required documents
- Next, select a document and input the correct expiry dates and save
- Once uploaded, it will take 24 hours for our document team to review and approve/reject your documents. If it is rejected, please make sure that you re-upload a clear picture of the correct document and enter the correct expiry dates
- Takoradi partners can go to Bethel Internat Cafe at Anaji (on Davis st, close to Cal bank) where the local Uber hero will temporarily support the vehicle inspection process
