About Uber Comfort

A better earning opportunity 

An Uber Comfort trip earns you more than the equivalent UberX trip. Paid wait time is  higher in comparison to UberX.

For highly-rated vehicles drivers only

Access is a reflection of high vehicle standards. Drivers that meet the required level will start receiving trips when they go online with an eligible vehicle!

Elevated Service

Uber Comfort attracts riders happy to pay a premium. Access a category of riders who have higher expectations in terms of service and vehicle comfort.

With Ride Preferences, your rider can request their ideal in-car temperature and let you know if they wish to chat, all before you arrive.

Opt-in

Eligible drivers will be automatically opted into the Comfort product, after submitting a clear picture of your DVLA Vehicle Registration Certificate. To ensure we launch a high level quality product worthy of the higher fares, please note that your driver ratings and cancellation rate will be continuously monitored. If these metrics fall outside the established criteria, you may lose access to the Comfort product

Vehicle eligibility criteria

To ensure comfort and quality, vehicles must be manufactured from 2010 to be eligible. If your vehicle is eligible, you will need to upload a picture of your DVLA vehicle registration certificate which confirms the year of manufacture.

Driver eligibility criteria

Uber Comfort was designed to maximize your earning possibilities on the Uber platform. Drivers meeting both the vehicle (above) and quality requirements (below) are eligible for Comfort and will be automatically enrolled:

• Only Gold, Platinum, and Diamond tiered drivers are now eligible
• Minimum driver ratings of 4.8% and a maximum cancellation rate of 10%
