Introducing the Emergency Button in Ghana

We want you to have the tools you need to get help quickly if you’re facing an emergency situation. That’s why we’ve introduced emergency assistance through the Uber app!
If something doesn’t feel right during a trip you can access the AURA emergency button in the Uber app.
The button is linked to private security and emergency medical services and can be accessed from the Safety Toolkit in the app.
How to use the emergency button from the Uber app:
Step 1: Tap on the shield icon at the bottom left of your screen to access the Emergency Toolkit
Step 2: Tap Emergency Assistance
Step 3: Swipe the red button to call for emergency assistance
AURA is our official safety partner. Their network of security response vehicles and ambulances are on standby to respond, anytime, anywhere!
