Uber et AXA signent un partenariat pour renforcer la protection des travailleurs indépendants du numérique

Uber et AXA sont heureux d’annoncer aujourd’hui la signature d’un accord de partenariat pour renforcer la protection des travailleurs indépendants utilisant la technologie Uber en France.

Dans le cadre de cet accord de partenariat innovant, le Groupe AXA apportera son expérience en matière de protection des travailleurs indépendants, notamment dans la prise en charge, en cas d’accident, des coûts des soins, dans l’indemnisation en cas d’incapacité ainsi que l’indemnisation des ayants droit en cas de décès. De son côté, Uber offrira aux travailleurs indépendants qui utilisent sa technologie cette protection nouvelle gratuitement, ce qui leur permettra d’exercer leur activité professionnelle sereinement. Ce nouveau système de protection doit être mis en œuvre à l’automne, date à laquelle ses modalités seront précisées.

As part of this innovative partnership, the AXA Group, a world leader in insurance, will bring its experience in the protection of independent workers, notably on coverage of medical expenses, disability indemnities, and survivor benefits in case of an accident. For its part, Uber will offer a new protection for free that will enable these independent workers to work flexibly with peace of mind. This new system of protection is expected to be implemented as of autumn. At that time, more specific details on the offer will be provided.
