How it works
1. Log in
Get on the road and log in to the Driver app to begin receiving delivery requests.
2. Deliver orders
Suggested navigation and information from restaurants and your customers is provided in the app to help deliveries run smoothly.
3. Earn money
You can track your earnings and cash out daily or weekly.
Steps to become a courier
Activate an account
Two possibilities:
- Meet our teams to present or buy your delivery bag (more info by email)
- Buy your bag online to activate your account directly
Once your documents are online, you can order a bag at t.uber.com/eshopeats to activate your account directly. You will receive all the information you need to start your activity by email.
We then invite you to bring your criminal record (request to be made on t.uber.com/ecj) as well as your ID to finalize your registration. On site, you can also present your bag to our teams or buy one (by credit card only).
Delivery requirements
Bike delivery
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have a state-issued ID
- Be a sole-trader or have your own company
- When signing up be sure to choose 'Deliver by bike' under transportation method.

How can I upload my documents?
You can upload your documents directly from the Uber Driver application or by visiting http://bonjour.uber.com
How can I retrieve my SIRENE situation statement?
You can retrieve your SIRENE situation statement from https://avis-situation-sirene.insee.fr/
Why are my documents refused?
If your document is refused, it's most likely for one of the following 3 reasons:
- It's a photocopy or a black-and-white document
- The four edges of the document are not visible
- The document is blurred, with reflections, shadows or objects masking part of the image
How can I activate my account?
To activate your account, two simple compliance conditions must be met:
- You must have uploaded and validated the following documents:
- Proof of your company's existence
- A profile picture
- A valid ID document
- You must have a compliant isothermal delivery bag
Register for VAT
It usually takes 2 to 4 weeks to complete the VAT registration process. If you already do business in France and exceed threshold obliging you to invoice, collect and repay VAT, please contact your tax administration service SIE in order to get forms you will be invited to fill in.
