Which vehicle best fits your needs? Make sure it meets our requirements to be able to drive using Uber in Spain.

Requirements

To be able to drive using Uber, the vehicle must meet the proper requirements listed below per category.

Vehicle documents VTC:

  • Vehicle circulation permit
  • Technical inspection passed (ITV)
  • VTC license
  • Vehicle insurance (with the current valid dates)

For taxi vehicles:

  • Vehicle registration certificate
  • Spain Taxi License - Urban
  • Annual License Inspection

Requirements

  • Maximum of 6 years and 350,000km
  • Minimum 5 doors
  • Seats for 4 passengers
  • Vehicle is in good condition

Electric

Requirements

  • Maximum of 6 years and 350,000km
  • Minimum 5 doors
  • Seats for 4 passengers
  • Vehicle is in good condition
  • Fully electric vehicles
  • Hybrids are not included

Uber Van

Requirements

  • Maximum of 6 years
  • Seats for 6 passengers
  • Vehicle is in good condition

Uber Black

Luxury rides with professional drivers.

Requirements

  • Maximum of 6 years
  • Minimum 5 doors
  • Seats for 4 passengers
  • Black color
  • Vehicle is in good condition

Uber Comfort

Vehicles with more head and leg space.

Requirements

  • Maximum of 6 years and 350,000km (*Maximum of 3 years for Opel Insignia and Ford Mondeo)
  • Minimum 5 doors
  • Seats for 4 passengers
  • Vehicle is in good condition

Taxi

Drive a Taxi car within the Uber App

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 doors
  • Seats for 4 passengers
  • Vehicle is in good condition
