Reintroducing Black – it is now even more luxurious with new requirements for vehicles quality, driver-partners service and the riding experience.

Ultimate luxurious ride option

Black matches you with the most upscale and newest vehicle models among all of the ride options on Uber, such as Mercedes Benz E Class, BMW 5-Series, Tesla Model X and Tesla Model S.

Unique personalised experience

When you book your trip through the app, you can request in advance for a quiet ride or a chatty one, and for a ride with your preferred temperature to be warm, hot, cool or cold. You can also request your driver-partner for help with your luggage.

Upgraded driver-partners’ service

All Uber Black driver-partners are rated 4.85 or higher. You can now enjoy twice the amount of wait time than the standard 3 minutes for you to meet your driver-partner before a wait time fee is incurred.

For your Ride Preferences, your driver-partner will be able to see them after accepting your request.

How to use Ride Preferences for your Black trip:

Enter or choose your destination and select Black
Confirm your pick-up location
Choose the temperature in the car (warm, hot, cool, cold) and whether you want to ride in a silence or are open to a chatty ride. For Black, you can enjoy an additional preference of whether you would like help with your luggage.
