This Heritage Day, we’ve partnered with proudly South African musicians across the country to add a new type of spice to your braai:

In-house performances on demand! 

That’s right! Typically we take you to and from the celebration, but on 24 September 2014, we’re bringing the celebration to THREE lucky Uber riders in each Uber SA City (Joburg, Cape Town, Durban).

As the Rainbow Nation, it is only right that each city brings you a little something special.

• JOBURG: Request a soulful performance by the award winning Soweto Gospel Choir
• CAPE TOWN: Request a gees-filled 14 person performance by the colourful Cape Town Minstrels 
• DURBAN: Request a vibey performance by the energy-filled Young Mbazo, grandchildren of Lady Smith Black Mbazo

HOW IT WORKS:

1. Open the Uber app on 24 September 2014 and you will see a South African flag icon
2. Toggle over to the South African flag
3. Set your pickup location and tap the “Request uberMZANSI” button to request your FREE 15 minute on-demand performance

Demand will be high, but keep trying! You just may get more than a BOERIE ROLL this Braai Day!
