Get to know additional fees in Trinidad & Tobago
At Uber we are concerned with maintaining our quality standards to ensure the best experience possible for users. That’s why there are fees for cleaning and the return of lost items. These amounts vary by country.
Lost item return fee
At Uber you always have 24/7 customer service in the app and you can use this if you’ve forgotten an object in a car. Once we’ve confirmed that the object has been satisfactorily delivered to you, a charge will be made for the return.
In Trinidad & Tobago the fee is 45 TTD.
Cleaning fees
In an Uber it is prohibited to drink, eat, smoke amongst others. A fee will be charged if any issues occur.
The fee varies according to the severity of the damage:
