The Coronavirus crisis is being felt around the world by all the communities we serve. Our teams are working hard to assist public health authorities in their response to the pandemic, and to take actions that support drivers and delivery people, customers, and our business partners, both large and small. 

Below we have collected a few resources for drivers and fleet partners that may be helpful for you as a partner during these times. We will continue to include more resources as they become available.

Temporarily deliver food for Uber Eats during the corona (Covid-19) outbreak? While there is currently less demand for ride-hailing, we see an increased demand for food delivery. Existing fleet partners (åkare) and independent operators can read more about the possibility to temporarily deliver food with UberEats here. 

Nordics sanitization redemption -program: Uber will reimburse up to €25 for disinfectant products and gloves. Read more and submit a request from here


Cost savings and financing options

Toyota: If you have bought/financed your car via ‘Toyota Finans’, you can get in touch with them at covid19@toyota-fs.com you can also talk to ‘Toyota Bilförsäkrings’ customer service on 0771 – 54 54 00 or ‘Eurocare’ customer service on 0771 – 33 00 66.

IF Insurance: 1)IF offers the possibility of changing from yearly payments to monthly payments and thus decreasing the current payment size.
2) If your vehicle is unused for given periods of time, you can decommission it from traffic use temporarily. This will reduce both the tax cost and you will receive a lower insurance cost, as the car is not in traffic use anymore. Decommissioning will enter into force immediately after the notification.
